Responsibilities & Context:
● Oversee and manage all daily operations of the finishing section in the dyeing unit.
● Ensure efficient operation of finishing machinery, including compactors, stenters, dryers, and other relevant equipment.
● Monitor and control fabric quality during all finishing processes to meet required standards and buyer specifications.
● Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all finishing activities.
● Optimize finishing parameters to achieve desired fabric hand feel, shrinkage, GSM, width, and other physical properties.
● Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues or quality deviations encountered during the finishing process.
● Coordinate with the dyeing, quality control, and production planning departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery.
● Manage and supervise the finishing team, including assigning duties, providing training, and evaluating performance.
