Responsibilities & Context:
● Provide immediate first aid and emergency medical treatment to injured or ill employees within the factory premises.
● Assess the health status of employees, diagnose minor ailments, and administer appropriate care or refer to external medical professionals when necessary.
● Maintain and update accurate medical records, patient files, and daily medical logs.
● Manage the medical center's inventory of medicines, medical supplies, and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper storage.
● Conduct regular health check-ups and screenings for employees as per company policy or regulatory requirements.
● Assist in developing and implementing health awareness programs, workshops, and campaigns to promote employee well-being and preventive care.
● Ensure the medical center operates in compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies.
● Coordinate with external hospitals, clinics, and specialists for employee referrals, follow-ups, and emergency transfers.
● Educate employees on occupational health and safety practices, personal hygiene, and disease prevention.
● Handle and dispose of medical waste in accordance with established protocols and environmental guidelines.
● Support the HR department in managing employee health benefits and medical insurance claims.
● Prepare comprehensive reports on health incidents, medical emergencies, and overall health statistics for management.
● Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile environment within the medical center.
● Provide counseling and support to employees on health-related issues, ensuring a compassionate approach.
