Skills Required:

Additional Requirements:
  • Age 28 to 42 years
  • Strong knowledge of circular knitting, flat knitting, yarn properties, and fabric construction.

  • Experience with knitting machine brands such as Mayer & Cie., Terrot, Fukuhara, or Pai Lung.

  • Proficiency in production planning, quality management, and troubleshooting.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.



Responsibilities & Context:

Job context :

AKH Knitting Dyeing Ltd is a knit composite factory and it’s a sister concern of AKH Group. We want to hire a Technical Asst. Manager/ Manager – Knitting who is responsible for overseeing all technical and production aspects of the knitting department. The role focuses on ensuring product quality, production efficiency, machine performance, process improvement, and compliance with customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Production & Technical Management

a) Plan, organize, and monitor knitting production activities.

b) Ensure production targets are achieved with optimum machine utilization.

c) Analyze production efficiency and implement corrective actions.

  • Machine & Process Optimization

a) Supervise the operation and maintenance of knitting machines.

b) Troubleshoot technical issues related to knitting processes and fabric defects.

c) Recommend machine settings and process improvements to increase productivity.

d) Introduce new technologies and best practices in knitting operations.

  • Quality Assurance

a) Ensure fabrics meet buyer specifications and quality standards.

b) Monitor fabric defects such as barre, holes, needle lines, Lycra issues, and GSM variations.

c) Conduct root-cause analysis of quality problems and implement preventive measures.

d) Coordinate with quality control teams for continuous improvement.

  • Product Development

a) Support the development of new fabric structures and knitting techniques.

b) Work with R&D and merchandising teams on sample development.

c) Evaluate yarn suitability and knitting feasibility for new products.

  • Cost & Efficiency Control

a) Monitor yarn consumption and minimize wastage.

b) Control production costs through process optimization.

c) Prepare technical reports and performance analyses.
