Experience:
1. Plan, organize, and control daily, weekly, and monthly garment production activities according to the approved production plan.
2. Ensure achievement of production targets while maintaining required quality, efficiency, productivity, and delivery standards.
3. Monitor line-wise production, efficiency, productivity and downtime and take immediate corrective action when required.
4. Ensure proper line loading, balancing, manpower allocation, machine utilization, and smooth production flow.
5. Coordinate with Merchandising, IE, QA/QC, Maintenance, Store, Finishing, Packing, and other departments to ensure uninterrupted production.
6. Ensure production is carried out according to approved samples, specifications, buyer requirements, quality standards, and production procedures.
7. Control defects, alteration, rejection, rework, and wastage by identifying root causes and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
8. Monitor production capacity and ensure effective utilization of manpower, machines, materials, and working hours.
9. Manage and develop production teams, including supervisors, line chiefs, operators, and helpers, to improve discipline, productivity, and performance.
10. Monitor machine breakdowns and coordinate with the Maintenance Department to minimize downtime and production losses.
11. Ensure timely completion of production orders in line with the T&A and shipment schedule and take recovery actions for delayed orders.
12. Implement productivity improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, line balancing, and waste reduction.
13. Monitor and control production costs by reducing overtime, idle time, rework, rejection, wastage, and other operational losses.
14. Ensure compliance with factory safety procedures, company policies, labor requirements, buyer standards, and workplace discipline.
15. Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly production performance reports and provide management with updates, analysis, and improvement plans.
