Experience:
At least Bachelor’s degree in any subject.
Highly qualified candidates will be given preference.
Minimum 15 years of working experience in any bank, financial institution or reputed organization with at least 5 years practical experience in the specific areas.
Sound knowledge of procurement rules, policies, and best practices.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to work independently and under pressure.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Plan, organize and execute procurement activities in compliance with bank policies and applicable laws.
Prepare procurement plans, tender documents (RFQ/RFP), comparative statements and purchase orders.
Ensure timely procurement of goods, services and works required by the bank.
Maintain liaison with vendors, suppliers and service providers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
Evaluate suppliers’ performance and maintain an approved vendor list.
Ensure compliance with PPR, Bangladesh Bank guidelines, internal procurement policies and audit requirements.
Maintain proper documentation and records related to procurement and contracts.
Coordinate with user departments, finance, and audit for smooth procurement operations.
Record maintenance of all Bank’s properties
Valuation/ revaluation of Bank’s properties
Space Rent/Lease arrangement for the office/branches.
Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
