Experience:

• Master’s degree in any discipline from a reputed university.

• Minimum 8 (eight) years of hands-on experience in Foreign Trade operations in a reputed commercial bank.

• In-depth knowledge and hands on expertise in international trade rules, foreign exchange regulations, and associated operational procedures.

• Strong leadership capability, analytical ability, and decision-making skills.

• Excellent proficiency in written and verbal communication in English.

• Professional qualifications (e.g., CDCS, CTFP) will be considered an added advantage.

• Oversee, manage, and ensure the smooth functioning of all Foreign Trade operations including Import, Export, Back-to-Back LC, EDF, LTR, and Bill Collections.

• Examine and verify all trade documents with strict adherence to UCP 600, ISBP, Incoterms, Bangladesh Bank guidelines, and internal policies.

• Maintain effective liaison with Bangladesh Bank, correspondent banks, regulatory bodies, and relevant internal departments.

• Ensure proper risk assessment, internal controls, and compliance measures within the Foreign Trade Division.

• Supervise, guide, and monitor departmental staff to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and efficient service delivery.

• Prepare required reports, statements, and documentation for management and regulatory submission.

• Contribute to policy formulation, SOP development, capacity-building initiatives, and continuous process improvement.

• Job Position may be negotiable.
