Responsibilities & Context:

A leading and reputed diversified business group is looking for a competent, detail-oriented, and experienced Payroll Officer to manage end-to-end payroll operations, attendance management, and final settlement processing. The selected candidate will be responsible for handling payroll of multiple business units along with Central Office employees independently.

  • Independently prepare, verify, and process monthly payroll for multiple business units.

  • payroll-related reports.

  • Ensure timely and accurate salary disbursement for all assigned units.

  • Manage and monitor employee attendance records and ensure accurate attendance data for payroll processing.

  • Process employee final settlements including resignation, termination, retirement, and other separation cases.

  • Calculate salary components including overtime, leave adjustment, deductions, and other payroll-related benefits.

  • Maintain payroll databases and employee compensation records with high accuracy and confidentiality.

  • Coordinate with HR and Accounts/Finance teams to ensure smooth payroll execution.

  • Prepare payroll reports, reconciliation statements, and MIS reports as required by management.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant labor laws related to payroll and benefits.

  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary payroll documentation.

  • Perform other payroll and HR-related tasks assigned by management.
