  • MBA (Master of Business Administration) – especially with a focus on hospitality or operations
  • Master in Hospitality Management

Responsibilities & Context:

Core Operational Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of all hotel departments (front office, housekeeping, F&B, maintenance, etc.)
  • Ensure smooth coordination between departments for optimal guest service
  • Monitor and evaluate service standards, implement improvements where necessary
  • Enforce hotel policies, procedures, and standards

Financial & Budgeting

  • Assist with budget planning and cost control measures
  • Monitor departmental expenditures and revenues
  • Analyze operational performance to identify efficiency opportunities

Guest Experience

  • Handle guest complaints and feedback with professionalism
  • Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction and personalized service
  • Monitor online reviews and maintain the hotel's reputation

Team Leadership & HR

  • Supervise, train, and evaluate team members across departments
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and staff development
  • Foster a positive work environment and team culture

Health, Safety & Maintenance

  • Ensure the hotel complies with all health, safety, and hygiene standards
  • Oversee the maintenance of facilities, buildings, and equipment
  • Liaise with vendors and service providers when needed

Strategic & Business Development

  • Collaborate with sales and marketing to support occupancy and revenue targets
  • Implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and guest loyalty
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitive landscape
