Responsibilities & Context:
Core Operational Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of all hotel departments (front office, housekeeping, F&B, maintenance, etc.)
- Ensure smooth coordination between departments for optimal guest service
- Monitor and evaluate service standards, implement improvements where necessary
- Enforce hotel policies, procedures, and standards
Financial & Budgeting
- Assist with budget planning and cost control measures
- Monitor departmental expenditures and revenues
- Analyze operational performance to identify efficiency opportunities
Guest Experience
- Handle guest complaints and feedback with professionalism
- Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction and personalized service
- Monitor online reviews and maintain the hotel's reputation
Team Leadership & HR
- Supervise, train, and evaluate team members across departments
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and staff development
- Foster a positive work environment and team culture
Health, Safety & Maintenance
- Ensure the hotel complies with all health, safety, and hygiene standards
- Oversee the maintenance of facilities, buildings, and equipment
- Liaise with vendors and service providers when needed
Strategic & Business Development
- Collaborate with sales and marketing to support occupancy and revenue targets
- Implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and guest loyalty
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitive landscape
