∎ Purpose: The Online Learning Designer will work under direct supervision of Manager- Online Education of the USAID Bijoyee Activity of BYLC, which is the strategic partner of CARE Bangladesh, including some other partner organizations. The project focused on a comprehensive Initiative focused on empowering and engaging young people in Bangladesh. It aims to address various aspects of youth development, including education, skill building soft skills, creating the environment for employment, entrepreneurship, civic engagement, and social inclusion as stated in project documents.
∎ The Online Learning Designer will ensure quality production and post-production through all stages of course development, including but not limited to curriculum development, learning design, and assessment development in collaboration with different stakeholders. The position will based in Dhaka North Hub, USAID Bijoyee Activity.
∎ Duration: 3 years with possibility of extension for further period as per project requirement.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Desired candidate profile:
∎ Essential Requirements: The Online Learning Designer will lead the Training under Dhaka North Hub of USAID Bijoyee Activity team for achieving having:
∎ 1) Understanding of design curriculum and facilitation for soft skills training
∎ 2) Strengthen youth leadership through targeted support of local youth-led and youth-serving organizations to promote youth participation as decision-makers and key contributors to individual, household, community, and national well-being.
∎ 3) Strengthen youth systems, in partnership with youth, to provide more coordinated and effective services, practices, and policies that embody the principles of BYLC.
∎ Core responsibilities:Strategic: (10%)
∎ BYLC's Strategies and project goals, policies, plans, and guidelines are properly maintained
∎ Support to enhance on to establish strategies for organizational and institutional development, growth, and sustainability
∎ Initiatives to enhance BYLC's image and leadership role nationally and globally
∎ Institutional and program regulatory approvals and adherence of country laws and regulations
∎ Promote and practice BYLC Values (Integrity, Respect Towards Others, Empathy, Excellence in everything We Do, Continuous Development and Practice Adapting Leadership) at all times
∎ Ensure Safeguard and protection of life and dignity of all associated personnel of BYLC as well as the assets and property.
∎ Operational: (80%)
∎ Product Development:
∎ Identify learning & development needs of Bangladeshi NEET youth with respect to employer needs
∎ Develop curriculum, course lists, and learning paths to fill skill/competency gaps.
∎ Plan and develop basic course content, including video and reading materials, quizzes, and evaluations, as well as any corresponding classroom activities
∎ Develop new and innovative online and blended teaching methods to ensure the best learning
∎ outcomes and maximum impact
∎ Content production/recording videos and taking live sessions as an instructor
∎ Identify potential instructors or content partners (including business and educational institutes)
∎ Engage external resources, whether individuals or organizations.
∎ Negotiate and execute contracts
∎ Follow-up and guide external resources to prepare content as per given guidelines.
∎ Ensure completed within the project time frame
∎ Must be able to quickly grasp core principles of content on diverse topics to give
∎ meaningful feedback.
∎ Design and continuously improve different engagement and activation
∎ Partnership Development:
∎ Secure, manage, and coordinate with different partners, including external instructors, educational, institutions, Student clubs, etc.
∎ Provide customer support through online platforms and telephone.
∎ Assist manager in managing different partners and stakeholders (third-party service provider, finance and accounts-related partners)
∎ Administrative Support:
∎ Assist the Manager in all the documentation and record-keeping
∎ Report and analyze user engagement with the BYLCx platform and content (Data Tracking) and
∎ provide support to relevant departments
∎ Support with all other activities of the BYLCx team as required, including coordinating and hosting
∎ live workshops, process development, UX feedback, marketing support, strategic input, etc.
∎ People Management and Relationship Building: (10%)
∎ Conduct regular meetings and contribute to helping team members understand and establish goals and responsibilities to increase their capacity and engagement.
∎ Receive feedback from team members and transform their feedback into action for continuous improvement and employee satisfaction.
∎ Establish and maintain inter-departmental collaboration and coordination concerning effective and efficient management
∎ Establish and maintain liaison with existing and potential external stakeholders.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience: At least 03 years (s) of a similar level of experience
∎ Experience in generate innovative ideas and creative content for print and digital platforms
∎ Experience in designing and delivering a capacity-building training online module
∎ Experience working with youth organizations, project field management, and training in any NGO/ development organization
∎ Experience in training, learning, and development management for USAID-funded projects will give an advantage.
∎ Required technical skills: Understanding of design and delivering a capacity-building training online module
∎ Experience in training module development
∎ Experience in content planning, coordination, and production
∎ Knowledge on Adobe Creative Cloud (Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Audition, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Animate) and DaVinci Resolve.
∎ Basic photography and videography skills
∎ Image manipulation and illustration skills.
∎ Applicants who have experience in 2D/3D animation will get preference.
∎ Experience in training planning, coordination, and field implementation.
∎ Excellent writing and speaking skills in both Bangla and English.
∎ Oral and written language skills in Bengali and English.
∎ Excellent skills in G Suite (including Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Drive), presentation, advanced MS Excel, and PowerPoint presentations.
∎ Excellent report writing and analytical skills.
∎ Effective coordination and collaboration with the government, local youth organizations, and the community in Manikganj and Gazipur.
∎ Interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
∎ Required Soft Skills: Self-motivated and self-driven individuals can promote community engagement.
∎ Excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively with colleagues and partners in a cross-cultural, multi-disciplinary environment.
∎ Willingness to work flexible hours is a critical requirement for this role.
∎ Should be dedicated to daily task completion.
