Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Review daily cutting plans and work orders and inspect fabric before cutting.
∎ Manage fabric spreading, cutting, and numbering processes to minimize defects.
∎ Ensure proper handling of delicate fabrics like lace, mesh, and stretch materials used in lingerie.
∎ Monitor the cutting process for accuracy and minimize fabric wastage.
∎ Troubleshooting any cutting-related issues to maintain efficiency.
∎ Conduct quality checks on cut fabric pieces to ensure alignment and precision.
∎ Coordinate with the sewing and production teams to ensure a timely supply of cut fabric.
∎ Maintain documentation of daily fabric usage, defects, and production reports.
∎ Ensure machines are clean, well-maintained, and operated safely.
∎ Analyze cutting efficiency and wastage reports, identifying areas for improvement.
∎ Review and update cutting plans based on production schedules and order priorities.
∎ Ensure maintenance checks for all cutting machines and tools.
∎ Conduct safety audits and implement corrective actions if necessary.
