• Basic knowledge of environmental compliance, MRSL, GHS, and ISO 14001.

• Good communication and documentation skills.

• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with ZDHC platforms preferred.

• Willing to learn and work in a factory environment.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in both Bangla and English.

• Must be expert in Microsoft Office & Typing both Bengali, English & making PowerPoint presentations as well

• Assist in maintaining up-to-date records of all chemicals used in production, printing, dyeing, finishing, ETP and WTP.

• Support implementation of ZDHC MRSL compliance and related chemical screening processes.

• Ensure labeling, MSDS, and storage of chemicals comply with GHS standards.

• Verify supplier chemical declarations and manage incoming chemical approvals.

• Monitor safe storage practices and segregation of hazardous chemicals.

• Support risk assessment of chemical storage and handling areas.

• Participate in inspections to prevent leakages, spills, or cross-contamination.

• Support in arranging training sessions for production and maintenance teams on safe chemical handling, spill response, and waste segregation.

• Prepare awareness materials (e.g., posters, SOP summaries) regarding sustainable chemical usage.

• Prepare PPE and chemical risk assessment, root cause analysis.

• Assist in implementing the ZDHC Gateway, BHive, and other platforms for input chemical management.

• Support data entry and document uploading for chemical inventories and wastewater test results.

• Help prepare documentation and coordinate audits for compliance with DoE, Higg FEM, GOTS, OEKO-TEX, Bluesign, and other customer standards.

• Participate in chemical safety inspections and support external audits.

• Assist in coordination with the ETP team to ensure influent and effluent samples are tested as per ZDHC or DoE parameters.

• Record and support monthly sludge generation data and safe disposal practices.

• Maintain records for all chemical management activities.

• Prepare daily/weekly reports on chemical usage, spill incidents, training, and non-compliance findings.

• Work closely with the Dyeing, Finishing, ETP, Maintenance, and Procurement teams to ensure integrated environmental sustainability.

• Coordinate with chemical suppliers to ensure conformance with sustainable procurement policy.

• Collaborate with the health and safety team to ensure a hazard-free working environment
