∎ Vivo Bangladesh Factory is a well-reputed Chinese multinational smartphone assembly and manufacturing company, namely Best Tycoon (BD) Enterprise Ltd. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated network engineer/senior network engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of data networking principles, with a strong focus on firewall and VPN technologies. The candidate should be adept at designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and efficient network infrastructures.
∎ Job Responsibilities:
∎ Design, implement, and manage robust and secure network infrastructures.
∎ Administer all network equipment, hardware, and software upgrades.
∎ Coordinate with the ISP for new services.
∎ Troubleshoot VPN connectivity issues and optimize performance.
∎ Configuring and troubleshooting routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, etc.).
∎ Serve as the technical point of contact for the customer.
∎ Analyze local and wide area network systems, including testing.
∎ Provide design, migration, implementation, and deployment services/guidance.
∎ Coordination with the overseas team, vendor, or ISP for any critical issue.
∎ Stay up-to-date with security trends, vulnerabilities, and best practices.
∎ Perform network system backups per documented methods and procedures.
∎ Support customers in deploying IT and RFID devices into their network.
∎ Optimize routing protocols for efficient and reliable data transmission.
∎ Need to have clear knowledge about BGP.
∎ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve security incidents.
∎ Conduct network/site surveys and prepare test reports, if required.
∎ Assist in the design and review of new data, voice, and/or telephony deployments.
∎ Maintain firewalls to ensure proper security controls are in place.
∎ Provide support for new applications and upgrades to existing systems.
∎ Install, configure, and support equipment from a variety of vendors.
∎ Contribute to the completion of specific programs and projects.
∎ Monitor network performance and troubleshoot problem areas as needed.
∎ Automate network monitoring to provide a proactive approach to mitigating network issues.
∎ Plan network layouts and configure systems to user environments.
∎ Ready to handle new projects, including implementation and architecture.
