Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc in any discipline, preferably in Computer Science, from any reputed local or foreign university
∎ Certification and training on System administration and Network administration would be added advantage

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 1 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Networking, Telecommunication or ISP field work, WAN

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Establishes and maintains network performance
∎ Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS and DHCP
∎ Troubleshoots network problems.
∎ IP address auditing
∎ Establishes networking environment by designing system configuration and directing system installation
∎ Updates data servers and network equipment
∎ Maximizes performance by troubleshooting network problems and outages and scheduling upgrades
∎ Provide project support to ensure network availability within the project scope
∎ Secures network system by establishing and enforcing policies and defining and monitoring access

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 20 years
∎ Must be technically skilled in diagnosing, troubleshooting and resolving hardware and network problems
∎ Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
∎ An ability to learn new technologies quickly
∎ Ability to coordinate with service providers/stakeholders
∎ Knowledge on LAN/WAN design and implementation using enterprise routers and switches would be added advantage
∎ Ability to work in a team
