Job Responsibilities:
∎ Attend technical meeting with clients for pre-sales and resolves technical problem as well.
∎ Assist in the physical deployment of network devices
∎ Network performance monitoring, tuning and reporting.
∎ Work with clients, vendors, and co-location site staff in performing site improvements and maintenance.
∎ Responsible for analyzing, designing, installing, configuring of network infrastructure and application components.
∎ Integrate new services and infrastructure to support the evolution and expansion of the network.
∎ Manage all system back-up and restore protocol.
∎ Perform troubleshooting analysis of servers, workstations and associated systems.
∎ Conducts risk assessment and provide recommendations for enhanced security architecture and infrastructure for a large IP network.
∎ Assist with the NOC staffs to resolve customer service issues and report accordingly.
∎ Co-ordinate with other departments to follow up the customer service and network issues.
∎ Offer expert advice to the organization on issues related to network engineering and administration
∎ Document procedures and analysis findings.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Strong knowledge of Internet protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, HTTP, etc.).
∎ Strong knowledge of physical layer (e.g., Optical, SDH, PDH, DWDM and Radio Link).
∎ Help document and maintain network diagrams in Visio.
∎ Strong knowledge of layer - 2 network and Layer - 3 network. (e.g., VLAN, spanning tree, etc.).
∎ Experience on layer 3 routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, etc.).
∎ Strong Knowledge on DNS, Proxy, DHCP, Web Servers, Data base Server (MySql), FTP Server, MRTG and Email Servers in Linux/Windows.
∎ Working knowledge of SNMP, Netflow, protocols.
∎ Experience in configuring SSL/IPSec VPN .
∎ In depth knowledge of MPLS, OSPF, BGP, ISIS, VTP, Spanning tree is Essential.
∎ Microsoft, Cisco and Juniper certifications (MCSE/ JNCIA/ JNCIS-SEC/ CCNA/ CCNP/ CCIP/ CCSP) will add extra advantage.
∎ CCNAs will be given preference.
∎ Must have experience in Networking Organizations (ISP/Telco).
