Responsibilities & Context:
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Support the implementation of IP addressing and network design changes under the supervision of senior engineers.
- Monitor network performance using various tools to identify outages, latency, or other issues.
- Maintain network stability by proactively addressing performance issues as they arise.
- Support the monitoring of traffic patterns and bandwidth usage.
- Help troubleshoot and resolve basic network issues, such as connectivity problems, hardware failures, and configuration errors.
- Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, topologies, and device inventories.
- Provide first-level technical support to customers and internal teams.
- Respond to client queries related to connectivity issues and help resolve common network problems.
- Coordinate with senior engineers to ensure timely resolution of client issues.
- Assist in monitoring network traffic for security threats or suspicious activities.
- Support the implementation of basic security configurations such as firewall rules, access controls, and VPN setups.
- Other tasks will assign by the team lead.
