About “BYEC”:
The Bangladesh Youth Employment Consortium (BYEC) is a consortium of seven organizations in Bangladesh that seeks to address the challenges youth face in securing employment by helping youth gain access to relevant skills, resources, and opportunities that help them secure dignified employment.
A. The M&E Officer shall perform the following tasks:
1. M&E framework and systems development
1.1 Develop and implement Theory of Change, M&E frameworks, plans, and indicators to guide project monitoring.
1.2 Design and update data collection tools, methodologies, and centralized databases.
1.3 Ensure planning, monitoring, evaluation and learning systems align with BYEC and its project strategies and organizational goals.
2. Data collection and management
2.1 Oversee and conduct data collection activities, such as surveys, interviews, and field visits.
2.2 Maintain data quality and assist in data management processes.
2.3 Extract, compile, and update data in various systems and databases, taking the inputs from Hub coordinators.
2.4 Analyze both quantitative and qualitative data to measure impact and outcomes, produce reports for management and donors
2.5 Provide recommendations for strategic decision-making. This role ensures the BYEC's activities are on track and align with its objectives
3. Analysis and reporting
3.1 Analyze both quantitative and qualitative data to assess project performance and outcomes.
3.2 Prepare and present reports, dashboards, and visualizations for various stakeholders.
3.3 Monitor progress against targets and produce regular reports (e.g., monthly, quarterly, annual).
3.4 Facilitate reflection and learning of the consortium and contribute to adaptive management
4. Project support and capacity building
4.1 Provide technical support to project teams and staff on M&E activities.
4.2 Conduct capacity building and training for staff and partners on M&E tools and concepts.
4.3 Collaborate with stakeholders, including donors and partners, on M&E activities.
4.4 Support project teams in identifying challenges and recommending improvements.
4.5 Attending monthly meetings, training, and other meetings assigned by management
One festival bonus equivalent to one (1) month’s gross salary.
