Education:

• HSC

• Candidates with minimum HSC or equivalent (Diploma Engineer, Diploma in Public Health) pass and extensive field experience in slum/community work may be considered.

• Age At most 40 years

Age: 40 years (as on 31.03.2026) but flexible for experienced candidates.

• Candidates must have the mentality of working with poor people in slum areas of Rajshahi City Corporation.

• Candidates must have ideal and honest character and must have a sense of responsibility towards work and professional skills.

• Candidates must have the mentality of working by bicycle at the field level.

Job Location: Caritas Rajshahi Regional Office.

Caritas Bangladesh (CB) is a national and non-profit development organization operating in Bangladesh since 1967. It has its Central Office in Dhaka and eight Regional Offices in Barishal, Chattogram, Dhaka, Dinajpur, Khulna, Mymensingh, Rajshahi and Sylhet. CB is currently implementing 96 projects covering 239 upazilas focusing on eight goals i.e i) Social Welfare and Service of Love for Vulnerable Communities, ii) Ecological Conservation, Climate Justice and Sustainable Food System, iii) Humanitarian Response and Disaster Management, iv) Education, Skill Development and Employment Creation, v) Health Care, Nutrition and Education, vi) Development of Indigenous Peoples, vii) Integral Human Development and viii) Institutional Development and Sustainability.

Caritas Bangladesh (CB), Rajshahi Region, is inviting applications from qualified candidates for immediate appointment to the following positions under the Building Resilient and Inclusive City (BRIC) project.

The details of the positions including key job responsibilities, educational qualification and other qualities /competency required for the above positions are given below for your information.

Community Mobilization & Engagement

• Organize and facilitate community meetings, group discussions, and awareness sessions on hygiene, sanitation, climate change, disaster preparedness, and health.

• Form and strengthen community groups, committees, and user groups.

• Ensure active participation of women, youth, elderly, and persons with disabilities in project intervention.

• Support training and capacity-building initiatives for community members and groups.

Project Implementation Support

• Assist in implementing project activities at the community level (housing, WASH, DRR, livelihood).

• Support beneficiary identification, selection, and verification processes.

• Monitor field-level activities and provide regular updates to the Project Officer.

Data Collection & Reporting

• Collect baseline and monitor data using prescribed tools.

• Maintain records of meetings, beneficiaries, and activities.

• Prepare regular field reports and case studies.

Coordination & Networking

• Liaise with local leaders, government representatives, and stakeholders.

• Facilitate linkages between communities and service providers.

Safeguarding & Inclusion

• Ensure safeguarding policies, gender equality, and inclusion principles in implementation of project activities.

• Identify and report any protection concerns or risks.

• Salary : BDT 20,000 (Consolidated) per month.
