Experience:
Postgraduate degree in any discipline (preferably in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Development Studies, or Social Science) with not less than 2nd division /class in any public examination.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in job placement, career counseling, or youth employment programs, preferably in development or TVET settings.
Proven experience in private sector engagement, internship coordination, or employment facilitation.
Knowledge of labor market dynamics, youth employability frameworks, and green job opportunities
Adequate knowledge and skills in computer applications, especially MS Office packages, digital communication tools, and flexibility to work with project management software.

The JAGORON Project focuses on strengthening social protection, enhancing youth employability, and improving access to services for vulnerable youth.
Project Name: JAGORON Project
Nature of Job: Fixed Term Contract for One Year (Yearly renewable based on performance)
Project Duration: Up to the 31 December 2028
Area of Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one and group career counseling sessions to youth.
Assist youth in developing resumes, cover letters, and interview skills.
Conduct orientation and workshops on job search techniques, career planning, and workplace readiness.
Establish and manage MoUs with employers for youth employment and on-the-job training.
Identify individual strengths, skills, and career goals of youth participants.
Organize and facilitate training sessions, workshops, and mentoring programs.
Identify and engage with private sector companies, industry associations, and employment agencies to generate placement and internship opportunities.
Collect and share job vacancy information with youth participants.
Facilitate linkages between employers and job-ready youth.
Organize job fairs, campus recruitment events, and employer–youth networking sessions.
Negotiate internship and apprenticeship opportunities for youth.
Work closely with the training team to align skill-building activities with market demand.
Work closely with training institutions, career guidance centers, and consortium partners.
Collaborate with other project officers to identify employment trends and opportunities.
Support program implementation and contribute to achieving placement targets.
Monitor and follow up with placed youth to ensure job retention and satisfaction.
Contribute to donor and project reports with accurate placement statistics and qualitative outcomes.
Document and share lessons learned, best practices, and innovative approaches in employability.
Prepare periodic reports on placement outcomes, challenges, and success stories.
Maintain an up-to-date database of youth participants, job placements, and employer contacts.
Contribute to project monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEAL) processes
Adherence to the Child and Youth Safeguarding Policy & Code of Conduct and Sexual Misconduct Regulation (PSHEA) of the organization.
