Job Description:
Project Management:
Lead the proposal development process, including capture planning, and ensure the involvement of relevant key partners and stakeholders.
Build a project team and be responsible for providing overall leadership and direction to the
Project team and overseeing the progress of all activities of the Project.
Maintain regular contact with JNUS and Donors, supervise the project team’s performance, and lead strategic planning, budgeting, and monitoring.
Conduct regular coordination meetings with the project team and supervise the implementation process of the project.
Responsible for providing operational guidelines and making decisions about the project in consultation with the line management and, as required, the senior management team of JNUS.
Arrange meetings with stakeholders; develop a work plan and methodology; do training needs Assessment (TNA), develop a training module and schedule; organize training materials and resource persons in consultation with JNUS and Donors.
Develop relationships and partnerships with peer NGOs and development partners and support the MoU, teaming/consortium agreement signing process.
Maintain liaison with GO, NGO, other concerned GBV sector/groups/forums/networks, relevant community people, institutions, agencies, and direct stakeholders.
Preparation of progress reports and presentations for the external audience and undertaking regular field visits as required to ensure effective, efficient, and timely implementation of project activities.
Ensure engagement with the local officials and other stakeholders, including CBOs, CSOs, Local authorities, Rohingya majhis, working in the targeted areas; assist Team members and technical personnel of livelihood in administering training workshops.
Ensure effective implementation of activities defined in the project documents, i.e., agreement, work plan
Oversee the development and execution of project deliverables, lead project planning and monitoring processes
Support the team and other stakeholders in defining, communicating, and driving the strategic aspects and goals of the project
Initiate activities to sensitize communities on sexual and reproductive health rights, gender- based violence, women's empowerment, the importance of education, the negative impacts of early marriage, etc.
Financial Management:
Review the budget and ensure timely expenses as per the agreed work plan
Ensure timely procurement of necessary logistics following the guidelines
Ensure timely disbursement of expenses to the staff, volunteers, vendors, and project participants
HR and Administration Management:
Lead the team, including volunteers, and provide mentoring support
Initiate capacity-building programs for the project team and volunteers
Supervise the office safety, security of the team, volunteers, and project participants
Liaise with JNUS head office regularly and update on project progress
Supervise the project team and volunteers through regular communication and field visits.

Monitoring, Reporting, and Documentation:
Provide necessary support to the consultant for the conduction of the baseline
Submit narrative and financial reports to HO, donor, and government counterparts following strict deadline (after review by relevant HO colleagues)
Collect case studies and success stories from the implementing areas/among the participants
Monitoring team performance and advice area of improvement.
Networking and collaboration:
Liaise with the GBVSS, LSDS, PSEA, GiHA, WG, and other sectors and sub-sectors and provide project updates to JNUS and UN Women.
Network with similar organizations and collaborate for new opportunities
Safeguarding Responsibilities:
Adhere to JNUS's Safeguarding policy, ensuring the safety and well-being of all project participants.
Promote a safe and secure environment for all participants and stakeholders of the project.
Report any safeguarding concerns promptly and follow the designated reporting procedures.
