∎ Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Textile Engineering or Apparel Manufacturing Management Technology will be given preference.
∎ Preferred Professional Certification: merchandizing
∎ Training/Trade Course: merchandizing
∎ Skills Required: Marketing and merchandising
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 7 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Apparel merchandising
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Garments
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for target order quantity per month from buyers, that will be set by competent Authority or Manager of merchandizing division.
∎ Costing of potential order in efficient way and making proposal to the authority for its workability.
∎ Ability to execution of order in intime as per approved schedule.
∎ Preparing proper action plan and achieve it.
∎ Ability to give adequate driving efforts for ensuring required quality.
∎ Ability to ensure intime raw materials supply and available for smoothing the production process.
∎ In time submission of required samples and confirming orders.
∎ Ability to good correspondence with buyers and suppliers.
∎ Report to authority regarding his departmental orders' status and taking necessary actions.
∎ Ability to meet individual monthly sales quantity and volume with least costing.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 35 years
∎ Having excellent product knowledge with capacity of handling very demanding and renowned customers
∎ Capable of leading a merchandising team professionally
∎ Able to anticipate problems and provide constructive solutions
∎ Proficient in both written and spoken English
∎ Having excellent e-mail communication skill with MS office, Excel operation.
∎ Ability to do Consumption and Costing of various products orders.
∎ Must be dynamic, energetic, self-motivated and self-organized with a positive attitude.
∎ Should have strong knowledge about (Fabric, Trims, Accessories, Print/Embroidery)
∎ Good managerial skill.
