Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Technology
∎ Diploma or other courses related to Merchandising
∎ Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology,Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology students will get preference
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 12 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Merchandising
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):

Job Context:
∎ Must be a dynamic Leader.
∎ Candidates with Overseas work experience , handled large volume and styles are preferred.
∎ Candidate Should have good analytical skill.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Proactive involvement in handling all merchandising related functions independently as well as working in close conjunction with merchandising team members in overseeing different customer accounts beginning from enquiry handling till final inspection & order shipment.
∎ Working as a facilitator of merchandising functions with each of the merchandising team members to provide integrated merchandise related status updates to management on daily basis.
∎ Engaging in style-wise critical path analysis , Scheduling and supervising time & action plans in a synchronized manner for ensuring timely closure of development approvals & raw material in house and on time delivery.
∎ Engaging in daily interactions with Commercial, Sourcing department for following up on procurement-related activities with regard to raw materials.
∎ Must have sound knowledge about fabric, consumptions, product costing & pricing process/procedure.
∎ Communicate & Negotiate with buyers on day to day merchandising activities and approvals.
∎ Analyze production data, including volume of production, consumption of raw materials, and quality control measures and increase productivity.
∎ Able to take decisions commercially and customer base in consultation with management.
∎ Coordinate among all other operational departments of the factory and solve the problem.
∎ Regularly organize in-house training for the merchandising team as well as identify the non-performer and solve their problem to improve their activities.
∎ Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.

∎ Age 30 to 40 years
