Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor degree in any discipline
∎ • Diploma/ Post Graduation Diploma/ any advance Professional Course in textile technology/ Merchandising/ Fashion Designing will be an added advantage.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Present & promote new designs & developments to the brands or customers.
∎ Strong sourcing ability of fabrics, accessories, trims, & other required materials from local and overseas for the developments.
∎ Sourcing ability of all kinds of Knit/100% polyester knit fabric from locally and overseas.
∎ Research and develop new designs & washes according to the trend & fashion forecast.
∎ Satisfactory knowledge about fabric, garment washing, materials, printing and embroidery etc.
∎ Communicate with the brands & ensure on-time sample stitching, washing, finishing, final quality & delivery.
∎ Strong knowledge to do product costing.
∎ Handle all merchandising issues starting from query to shipment.
∎ Follow-up time and action plan properly and updating daily basis.
∎ Maintain all relevant merchandising communications files, reports etc.
∎ Maintain all kinds of reports pertinent to the unit activities, as required.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 10 years of working proven relevant experience is required for the position.
∎ Should able to work under pressure.
∎ The incumbent should be dynamic, well organized, self-driven & have a good personality.
∎ Must demonstrate an attitude of integrity, transparency, proactive stance and positive style.
∎ Computer skills in MS-Office, Windows XP, PowerPoint, and E-mail
∎ Good oral and written communication skill both in Bangla and English;
