Minimum 3–5 years of practical experience in merchandising within a reputed woven garment factory or buying house.
Responsibilities & Context:
Handle end-to-end merchandising activities for woven garments from order confirmation to final shipment.
Communicate effectively with buyers / buying houses regarding order details, specifications, pricing, timelines, and approvals.
Analyze tech packs, size specs, measurement charts, BOM, and fabric details to ensure accuracy before production.
Coordinate with sampling, sourcing, production, quality, and commercial departments to ensure smooth workflow.
Prepare cost sheets, price negotiations, and maintain required profit margins using strong numerical skills.
Follow up on sample development, buyer comments, and approvals (fit, PP, size set, pre-production).
Monitor fabric and trims sourcing, ensuring correct quality, quantity, and on-time delivery.
Prepare and update Time & Action (T&A) calendars and ensure adherence to production schedules.
Track production status, identify potential risks, and take corrective actions proactively.
Ensure quality standards are maintained as per buyer requirements throughout production.
Coordinate pre-final and final inspections and resolve any buyer or QA issues.
Assist in preparing shipment documents and liaise with the commercial/logistics team for timely shipment.
Maintain proper order-wise documentation, reports, and records for audit and compliance purposes.
Ensure compliance with buyer code of conduct, factory compliance standards, and internal SOPs.

Proficient in MS Excel, email communication, and ERP systems.
