Responsibilities & Context:

The Planning & Logistics Officer is responsible for supporting effective supply planning, material coordination, and logistics execution to ensure timely availability of materials and finished goods. The role contributes to smooth supply chain operations by collaborating with internal teams and external partners to meet business and customer requirements.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Support planning and coordination of materials and orders to ensure timely availability.

  • Coordinate with partners to monitor order progress, delivery timelines, and capacity commitments.

  • Assist in inventory planning to maintain appropriate stock levels and minimize risk.

  • Track production and shipment progress and provide regular status updates to relevant stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order execution.

  • Support logistics and shipment coordination to ensure on-time dispatch and delivery.

  • Identify potential delays or risks and communicate them proactively.

  • Maintain accurate planning and logistics data in internal systems and reports.

  • Participate in supplier follow‑ups, reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Perform additional duties related to planning and logistics as assigned by the line manager.

Key requirements & experience

  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering.

  • At least 2 years of experience in production planning (preferably within manufacturing).

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, BI and basic reporting tools.

  • Experience working in vendor portals.

  • Experience in ERP systems (Infor M3 or similar preferred).

  • Strong organizational, coordination, and follow‑up skills.

  • Ability to analyze data and support planning decisions.

  • Good communication skills with internal teams and external partners.

  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.

  • Proactive, detail‑oriented, and team‑focused mindset.
