Job Context:
∎ We are looking for dynamic and experienced talent for immediate appointment of Merchandiser or Sr. Merchandiser position who has solid experience in corporate level merchandising. He must have substantial, experience in the following areas and must be self-driven and self-motivated to take challenges & deliver high quality results.
∎ Job Location: 14th Floor, 12 Biponon C/A, Sonartori Tower, Sonargaor Road, Bangla Motor, Dhaka-1000
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Must have good knowledge in price quotation and product development.
∎ Responsible for processing orders independently from development. Follow up the Design & Development and Sample Department to ensure shipment moves on time.
∎ Prepare all kind of production samples size set before dead line of requirement and Maintain Fabric, Accessories booking and in-house on time.
∎ Effective follow-up on materials inventory, production process, quality standards.
∎ Follow up the order by using the Order Follow-up System and use deadlines as a help to keep track of order status and report to top management.
∎ Understand supplier capability in terms of price, quality, capacity and lead time.
∎ Have an in depth knowledge and experience about product and costing for Knit + Woven.
∎ Support Supplier to take more initiative to solve problem by sharing information with The Management.
∎ Strong Sourcing Knowledge.
∎ Work closely with Design Department, QC Department.
∎ Should have good knowledge of print technique and fabric quality technique: washing, dyeing, finishing all kind of special treatment of fabric.
∎ Visit factories and attend relevant meetings with team to discuss crucial issues on a regular basis.
∎ Prepare various production planning reports.
∎ Any other job assigned by the top management
