Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc in Textile Engineering OR Apparel Manufacturing OR Professional Degree in Apparel Merchandising will be given preference from BUFT, SANTO MARIAM, BUTEX OR any reputed institute/ University.
∎ BBA/ MBA/ Masters from any reputed university may apply.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 4 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Apparel merchandising, Knit garments, Knitwear Merchandising, Marketing and merchandising, Merchandising and Production.
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Garments, Textile
Job Responsibilities:
∎ MUST BE DEALING BUYER of Bestseller, LCWAIKIKI, NEXT, GUESS, s.Oliver etc. understanding the detailed process.
∎ Should be capable to handle different buyer's orders independently.
∎ Capable to prepare costing sheet and pricing of KNIT Garments.
∎ Capable Sourcing of Fabrics, Trims, and Accessories from home and abroad.
∎ Capable of shipment of Garments on time, with close production follow-up.
∎ Coordinates with the production team in order to deliver on-time shipment and ensures Merchandisers are updating order status to the buyer.
∎ Coordinates with Planning Manager to determine/ Fix delivery schedule (Date) and sequence of implementing all orders in the lines.
∎ Work closely with the QA department to ensure the best final product.
∎ Have to take care of all aspects of quality from the initial to the final stage of the production.
∎ Close liaison with Buyer/ QC/ Buying office.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Should have strong communication skill (both written and spoken) in English.
∎ Good Interpersonal skills.
∎ Fast acting for Problem Solving.
∎ Strong people management skill-fairness and ability to motivate and manage the team.
∎ Sincerity and Responsibility.
