Job Responsibilities:
∎ You will be responsible for ensuring sourcing, negotiating, ordering, shipment and new product development
∎ processes are of the highest quality, delivering the right product at the right price and on time to drive business growth within Category by;
∎ Implementing an effective supplier strategy that delivers the right product, at the right price and quality in order to meet the Country Buying Team's requirements and standards
∎ Implementing the agreed category critical path, effectively managing and escalating any issues as appropriate to ensure products are delivered on time
∎ Negotiating cost prices effectively to ensure the Category delivers on Better, Simpler and Cheaper across all product areas
∎ Working effectively with the Category technical teams to ensure that products are delivered that meet all safety, quality, ethical and legal requirements
∎ Supplying the Order Management team with correct information first time to minimize workload.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ At least 5 years' merchandising experience in knit, in sourcing and buying environment
∎ Sound product knowledge and familiarity with European market
∎ Proven experience to be able to work with overseas buyers independently
∎ Self-motivated; good communication and interpersonal skills; negotiation and decision making skills
∎ Interest in fashion & trends
∎ Good command over written and spoken English and local language
∎ Computer literate; proficient in MS Office
