Experience:

• Master`s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

• Professional certifications (CIPS, CPIM) will be given preference.

• At least 10 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (FMCG), Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM), Group of Companies, Animal/Plant Breeding

• Age At least 40 years
• Only Male

• Proven leadership and team management capabilities.

• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Advanced proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), and MS Office Suite.

• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.

• In-depth knowledge of supply chain, contract law, and procurement best practices.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Knowledge of local and international procurement, supply chain, and logistics.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager/Senior Manager (Procurement) to join our team to lead and oversee all procurement activities and contribute to the continued growth and success of our operations. 

• Develop and execute procurement strategies that align with our company`s overall objectives, ensuring cost-effective, timely acquisition of goods and services.

• Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and securing competitive pricing.

• Stay current on industry trends, market prices, and supplier developments to ensure procurement decisions are based on accurate, up-to-date information.

• Drive cost-saving initiatives while ensuring the consistent quality of materials and services.

• Lead and mentor the procurement team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

• Collaborate with inventory and production teams to ensure the timely availability of materials and minimise stockouts or overstock situations.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements. Prepare regular procurement reports and analysis for senior management.

• Assess and manage procurement-related risks, developing strategies to mitigate supply chain disruptions.

• Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with suppliers, managing terms and conditions to achieve the best value for the company.

• Evaluate and introduce new procurement technologies, software, or processes that improve efficiency, transparency, and data analysis.

• Any other task assigned by management.
