Responsibilities & Context:
Quality Feeds Limited is seeking a competent and proactive Jr. Officer / Officer – Transport to manage and supervise transport operations at the Purbachal Warehouse. The candidate must have practical, hands-on experience in transport management, vehicle maintenance coordination, and logistics support within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
Responsibilities:
Supervise daily transport operations and vehicle scheduling.
Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of goods from the warehouse.
Monitor vehicle movement, fuel consumption, and trip reports.
Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance of vehicles.
Maintain transport-related documentation (fitness, tax token, route permit, insurance, etc.).
Control transport costs and optimize route planning.
Ensure compliance with company policies and road safety regulations.
Maintain liaison with drivers, the warehouse team, and management.
Prepare transport reports (daily/monthly) for management review.
