In-depth knowledge of fiber optic network design, architecture, and deployment techniques.
Hands-on experience with fiber optic splicing, testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
Strong understanding of telecommunication protocols and network management tools.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team of engineers and technicians.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a customer-focused approach to service delivery.
Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
Strong organizational and communication skills to coordinate effectively with teams and external partners.
Responsibilities & Context:
Lead the planning, design, deployment, and optimization of fiber optic cable networks for reliable, high-speed connectivity.
Manage the expansion and maintenance of transmission and fiber networks, ensuring alignment with industry standards and company goals.
Oversee network upgrades, expansions, and infrastructure projects to meet current and future demand.
Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to ensure seamless execution of network projects.
Supervise and guide engineers and technicians for fiber optic network deployment, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance plans to ensure minimal downtime.
Ensure the timely resolution of network issues, minimizing disruptions, and maintaining high service levels.
Maintain detailed documentation of network layouts, splicing records, and equipment status.
Coordinate with vendors to procure necessary fiber optic tools, materials, and equipment.
Ensure all work complies with local regulations, industry standards, and safety guidelines during network installations and repairs.
Develop and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor network efficiency, uptime, and overall performance.
Prepare regular reports for senior management on network status, project progress, and technical challenges.
