Proven experience and strong knowledge of tea auctions, global trading practices, and international quality standards.
Practical expertise in tea tasting, blending, and managing auction-based buying and selling.
Responsibilities & Context:
We are seeking an experienced Tea Trading Manager to lead our crop disposal, auction trading, blend development, and client relationship management. The successful candidate will ensure maximum value realization from auctions, develop innovative blends, and maintain strong networks with brokers, buyers, and regulators.
Manage tea crop disposal through effective auction strategies.
Achieve targeted auction prices while minimizing unsold/withdrawal percentages.
Conduct tea tastings and guide blend development as per market and management requirements.
Oversee product development, including R&D and new packaging initiatives.
Prepare accurate Auction Sale Reports and Interim Reports on time.
Ensure timely license renewals and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Maintain strong relationships with brokers, buyers, and other stakeholders to refine strategies.
