At least 12 years self C&F working experience.
Detailed knowledge of Customs formalities.
Documentation knowledge for clearing the Imported goods from customs.
Documentation knowledge for forwarding the Exported goods.
H.S code and its application.
Bill of Entry, Bill of Exchange (B/E), Bill of Lading (B/L), Bill of ExportSRO, SWIFT, UCP-600, HAB, MAWB, PSI, ICD, LCL & FCL Cargo, IGM & EGM.
Assessable Value & Invoice value, Tax Holiday & Duty Drawback, INCOTERMS, Commercial, Banking, Customs and Shipping terms knowledge.
Tariff of Import and Export goods.
Pre- shipment inspection & Post shipment Inspection.
Good communication skills in both English & Bengali.
Basic computer skills.
Flexible in working hours.
Lead the self C&F team for efficient, cost effective & lawful execution of import and export processing of the Company.
Manage the movement of products/material/Equipment in and/or out of the country in accordance with organizational policy & procedure, and to comply with relevant local and international law & process.
Monitor constant follow up with buyers and shippers for timely shipments & dispatch of shipping documents prior to the arrival of consignments.
Liaising with Customs, Port, and other relevant govt. organizations for import consignment clearance in line with company’s ethics code of conduct.
Collaborate with C&F Agents, Banks, Insurance, Freight Forwarders, Shipping Lines, Transporter, Inspection Company, and others to release consignment at right time at right cost.
Design material movement plan to ensure material availability as per requirements planning.
Vendor enlistment & development for better operation management.
Demurrage reduction & control and maximize savings.
Implement process appropriate to resolution of problems in key issues.
Analyze and evaluate relevance of activities to formulate process improvement.
All other facilities as per company policy.
