Experience:

Professional Engineer (PE) / Chartered Engineer preferred
8–12+ years of experience in structural engineering, with strong exposure to real estate development
Proven experience managing teams and multi-project portfolios
Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete, steel structures, and foundation systems

Job Summary
The Manager – Structural Engineering is responsible for leading and overseeing all structural engineering aspects of real estate development projects, from concept through construction and handover. This role ensures structural safety, code compliance, cost efficiency, and alignment with project timelines while coordinating with internal teams, consultants, and contractors.
Key Responsibilities
Technical & Project Management
Lead the structural design, review, and approval for residential, commercial, and mixed-use real estate projects
Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
Review structural drawings, calculations, and specifications prepared by consultants
Provide value engineering solutions to optimize cost without compromising safety or quality
Resolve structural design and site-related issues during construction
Team & Stakeholder Coordination
Manage and mentor in-house structural engineers and coordinate with external consultants
Collaborate closely with architects, MEP engineers, project managers, and construction teams
Act as the primary structural engineering point of contact for developers, contractors, and authorities
Support project planning, budgeting, and scheduling from a structural perspective
Quality, Risk & Compliance
Conduct structural risk assessments and feasibility studies during land acquisition and early design stages
Ensure quality control through regular design audits and site inspections
Review method statements, shop drawings, and material submittals
Address non-conformities and implement corrective actions
Strategic & Managerial Duties
Contribute to standardization of structural design practices across projects
Support procurement in evaluating contractors and consultants
Assist senior management with technical reports, cost estimates, and project updates
Stay updated on industry best practices, codes, and emerging construction technologies
