A. KNOWLEDGE
Technical Inventory Management
• Strong understanding of Engineering Spare Parts (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, and Plumbing) and their categorization.
• Knowledge of Inventory Flow: Receiving, Inspection (GRN), Binning, Issuance, and Returns.
• Understanding of storage principles, including specialized storage for sensitive electronics, rubber gaskets (shelf-life), and lubricants.
System & Process Control
• Working knowledge of ERP/SAP (MM Module) for inventory tracking, stock adjustments, and purchase requisitions.
• Awareness of "Min-Max" levels, Lead Time, and Safety Stock concepts to prevent stock-outs during critical breakdowns.
Compliance & Documentation
• Knowledge of Asset Management and documentation requirements: Spare parts traceability, Gate Pass management, and Warranty tracking.
• Understanding of 5S and Safety standards within a warehouse environment to maintain a hazard-free workspace.
B. SKILLS & ABILITIES
Operational & Technical
• Ability to identify and verify technical specifications of parts (e.g., bearing numbers, motor ratings, valve types) against purchase orders.
• Skilled in operating inventory software to maintain 100% data accuracy between physical and system stock.
• Capability to handle measuring tools (vernier calipers, multimeters) to verify incoming part dimensions or specifications.
Loss Control & Efficiency
• Skilled in Cycle Counting and periodic physical verification to minimize inventory discrepancies.
• Ability to prevent "Dead Stock" or obsolescence through FEFO/FIFO (First-Expired, First-Out) management of consumables and chemicals.
Record Keeping & Coordination
• Ability to maintain accurate maintenance logs, calibration records for store tools, and vendor delivery documents.
• Strong coordination skills with Procurement, Finance, and Maintenance teams to ensure the right part is available at the right time.

• Flexibility: Willingness to support emergency repairs or audits outside of standard working hours if required.
Engineering Inventory & Parts Management
• Execute the receipt, inspection, and systematic storage of engineering spare parts, tools, and consumables (bearings, seals, electrical components, etc.).
• Operate the ERP/SAP system to perform real-time transactions for stock issuance, returns, and receipts to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Monitor "Min-Max" stock levels and lead times to trigger purchase requisitions, preventing operational downtime due to missing critical spares.
Stock Integrity & Audit Compliance
• Ensure 100% stock traceability by accurately recording serial numbers, batch numbers, and shelf-life for sensitive components (lubricants, gaskets, electronic sensors).
• Perform regular cycle counts and wall-to-wall physical audits to identify variances and report discrepancies to the Engineering Lead.
• Ensure strict adherence to binning and labeling standards, ensuring every item is stored in its designated location for rapid retrieval during breakdowns.
Store Handling & First-Line Maintenance
• Conduct routine inspections of storage conditions (temperature, humidity, dust control) to prevent corrosion or degradation of high-value technical assets.
• Support the upkeep of the engineering store area by implementing 5S principles, ensuring all aisles, shelves, and heavy-part racks are safe and accessible.
• Respond to urgent part requests during emergency breakdowns and coordinate with the procurement team for local sourcing or expedited deliveries.
Safety & Material Handling
• Ensure the safe handling of heavy engineering components (motors, pumps) and hazardous materials (industrial oils, degreasers), maintaining PPE and spill kit compliance.
• Maintain storage discipline for specialized tools and "Critical Spares," ensuring they are preserved in ready-to-use condition.
• Support safe lifting and material movement within the store using manual or mechanical handling equipment to prevent accidents and damage to parts
