Responsibilities & Context:

Job Summary:

The Manager – Strategic HR will play a key role in aligning human resource strategies with business objectives across retail brands of Retail Industry. This role will focus on workforce planning, talent management, organizational development, and driving HR initiatives that enhance productivity, culture, and business performance.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. HR Strategy & Business Partnering

  • Drive workforce planning based on production, retail expansion, and seasonal demand

  • Act as a strategic advisor on organizational structure and people capability

2. Talent Management & Development

  • Lead talent acquisition strategy for both factory and retail operations

  • Identify high-potential employees and develop succession planning frameworks

  • Design and implement learning & development initiatives

3. Organizational Development (OD)

  • Drive performance management systems (KPIs, appraisals)

  • Lead change management and organizational transformation initiatives

  • Enhance employee engagement and culture across brands

4. HR Analytics & Reporting

  • Analyze HR data (turnover, absenteeism, productivity, etc.) to drive decisions

  • Develop dashboards and reports for leadership review

  • Recommend improvements based on data insights

5. Compensation & Benefits

  • Ensure competitive and equitable compensation structures

  • Support salary benchmarking and benefits design

  • Align rewards with performance and business outcomes

6. Employee Relations & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Labor Law and industry standards

  • Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution

  • Promote a positive industrial and corporate work environment

7. Retail & Factory HR Alignment

  • Ensure seamless HR support across factory operations and retail outlets

  • Address workforce challenges such as high attrition, shift management, and productivity
