Educational Requirements:
∎ BBA / MBA Preferred.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Individually capable to handle Team.
∎ Individually capable to handle buyer and have own sourcing ability.
∎ Must be capable of handling European and USA based buyers of Woven (Jacket and Bottom) item. Applicant must have sound knowledge about product costing & pricing process/ procedure.
∎ Follow up with Team Leaders about production details as per order & to ensure timely shipment. Follow up orders with customers, factory and suppliers to ensure customer satisfaction and on time delivery.
∎ Anticipate problems and contribute ideas to devise constructive solutions. Proactively build and maintain team spirit as well as improve teamwork. Resolve conflicts between customer and factory, e.g. delivery /production delay.
∎ Coordinate with other departments to determine/fix delivery schedule (date) and sequence of implementing his/her order in the lines.
∎ Follow up on Developments, Samples and Production with a high degree of personal responsibility.. Monitoring whole process from sample development
∎ Maintain all relevant merchandising communication, order files, reports etc. required for processing orders efficiently.
∎ To make costing, T&A Plan, sourcing of trims & accessories, fabrics.
∎ Support Buyer and Supplier to take more initiative to solve problem by sharing information with top Management.
∎ Work closely with the Quality and Technical team to ensure quality standard of the products. Daily communicate with customers & Clients.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ No need to apply who are not interested to stay in Chittagong
∎ Strong at handling merchandising documentation and working with operations head for handling factory merchandising related responsibilities.
∎ Strong organizing, planning, directing and problem-solving skills.
∎ Excellent command over English (written and spoken) and in Bangla is highly desired. Meeting Business demands in terms of Cost / Delivery /Quality/ Speed.
∎ Controlling and coordinating activities along with the production team. Strong English written and oral communication skills
∎ Strong Analytical skills.
∎ Highly skilled in computer and mail communications. The ability to deliver under pressure.
