Employment Status: Full-time

Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum Graduate in any discipline from any reputed university with sound knowledge in Cutting in a Knit Garments Factory.
∎ Candidates having Textile Engineering background and experienced in other departments like sewing, finishing, knitting, dyeing, etc would be given preference.

Experience Requirements:
∎ 8 to 12 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop & lead the team for the smooth operation of the cutting section.
∎ Understand and maintain 100% compliance in cutting operation and department.
∎ Receive fabrics and others accessories as per booking consumption and ensure quality in cutting.
∎ Differentiate the fabrics as per quality segregation.
∎ Cross check the QC report and obtain the QC approval for the sample/size and bulk cutting.
∎ Make the cutting plan as per quality segregation.
∎ Ensure fabric relaxation as per fabrics type & buyer's requirement.
∎ Lay inspection - marking and cutting the fabrics accordingly.
∎ 100% cut-panel inspection and report accordingly.
∎ Cutting production quantity should be reported as per the QC Pass quantity.
∎ Fix the daily production target discussing with the Garments Head to achieve the target ensuring quality.
∎ Prepare monthly/weekly cutting plan considering the shipment schedules.
∎ Implement strict control on waste by reducing cutting rejection & fabric waste.
∎ Train the team members, manage and increase efficiency maintaining the quality.
∎ Attend PP meeting of each style/order and implement cutting guideline.
∎ Ensure smooth operation of the Cutting section by problem analysis, root cause identification and problem solving.
∎ In case of any short cutting, report to concern department immediately.
∎ In case of any fabric quality issue, need to find out the route cause and solve the problem.
∎ Understand and maintain RQS & GPQ requirements.
∎ Fabrics consumption shall be within the plan, if it exceeds, take approval from superior authority.
∎ Ensure numberings are made actual.
∎ Bundling the cut panel as per order wise.
∎ Keep liaison with the Merchandising Department, Production Head, Quality Manager, Dyeing and
∎ Finishing Department and others for day to day work.
∎ Maintain Liaison with sewing, printing, embroidery and dyeing section regarding quality and quantity.
∎ Strictly maintain the SOP of cutting.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ 8 to 12 years in Knit Composite Factory.
∎ The applicant should have knowledge & experience in CAD, Cutting Production and Cutting Quality.
∎ Must have strong leadership, management capability and target-oriented.
∎ Good communication skills in English and Bengali both in oral & written.
∎ Ability to work as a team leader and do multiple tasks simultaneously.
∎ Working experience in large Knit Composite Factory.
∎ Must be able to work using computers and good working Knowledge in ERP, MS word, Excel, Power Point and emailing.
∎ Should have experience in shade separation, shade integrity and shrinkage.
∎ Candidate having exposure to Lean Manufacturing will be given preference.
∎ Must have basic knowledge regards to production efficiency, manpower utilization and industrial engineering.
∎ Should be familiar with H&M, TCHIBO and SAINSBURY'S order procedures from fabric receive to cutting and input to sewing.
∎ Having capacity to handle a large cutting floor ensuring compliance requirement.
∎ Having good knowledge of using auto-cutter (Lectra) and auto spreader.
