Skills Required:

Additional Requirements:
  • Must have sufficient experience in Supply Chain Management with a renowned organization

  • Sound knowledge in Import & Export Procedure, custom rules, import policies, & SROs

  • Strong leadership skill and team building capability

  • Proficiency in ERP systems like SAP

  • Adept in MS Office

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal relationship skill



Responsibilities & Context:
  • Lead, train, and motivate the SCM team to achieve departmental goals.

  • Track key supply chain metrics (cost, lead time, service level, accuracy).

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely availability of raw materials and services.

  • Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors to develop procurement strategies that are trustworthy and cost-effective.

  • Negotiating with Local & foreign suppliers and vendors to secure beneficial terms and finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries.

  • Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility and maintaining long-term relationships.

  • Plan and manage transportation, warehousing, and distribution of goods.

  • Controlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term savings on procurement costs.

  • Plan and conduct the import management procedures of required products/equipment's/materials as per organizational policies

  • Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business partnerships

  • Manage LC operation, Shipping Documents, custom procedures and other related issues.

  • Stay abreast with custom rules, import policies, & SROs and import related web portals.

  • Maintain liaison with customs, C&F agents and other related Government officials.

  • Co-operate suppliers (Local & Foreign) for shipment schedule and timely shipment-related information.

  • To carry out any other tasks as assigned by the Management as and when required.
