About the Role
Hotel Grand Park Barishal is seeking a highly dynamic, results-driven, and experienced Manager – Sales & Marketing to lead its commercial growth initiatives. The incumbent will be responsible for driving room sales, corporate business development, F&B revenue enhancement, market expansion, branding, and strategic positioning of the hotel in a competitive hospitality market.
This is a leadership role for a proactive professional with strong hotel sales exposure, excellent networking capability, and proven success in achieving ambitious revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute short-term and long-term Sales & Marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.
Drive room sales, banquet sales, corporate tie-ups, and F&B revenue growth.
Conduct market research, competitor benchmarking, and market intelligence gathering.
Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, travel partners, project stakeholders, brokers, and institutional clients.
Identify new business opportunities, market segments, and strategic partnerships.
Maintain occupancy-based rate grid and pricing strategy to optimize revenue.
Monitor and improve MPI (Market Penetration Index) and RGI (Revenue Generation Index).
Organize promotional campaigns, sales activations, networking events, and corporate visits.
Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports, forecasts, budgets, and presentations for management review.
Lead, mentor, and motivate the Sales & Marketing team to achieve targets.
Coordinate closely with Front Office, F&B, Housekeeping, Finance, HR, Security, Engineering, and other departments to ensure seamless commercial execution.
Ensure guest, client, and business partner satisfaction through service excellence and relationship management.
Represent the hotel professionally in industry associations, business forums, trade events, and corporate networking platforms.
· Manage end-to-end digital marketing by driving SEO/SEM, social media, paid campaigns, and OTA visibility to increase online presence and bookings, while leveraging analytics and CRM tools to optimize performance, customer engagement, and retention.
