Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Monitor all hotel expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities. Analyze variances between actual and budgeted costs to ensure operational efficiency.
∎ Conduct profitability analysis for food and beverage, rooms, and another hotel.
∎ Assist in preparing annual budgets and monthly forecasts. Work closely with department heads to ensure spending aligns with budget targets.
∎ Ensure accurate stock management for kitchen, Restaurant, Swimming Pool, housekeeping, and maintenance departments.
∎ Monitor purchase orders and control par levels to avoid overstocking or wastage.
∎ Ensure all cost control procedures comply with hotel policies and local regulations.
∎ Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts, issues, and returns.
∎ Follow proper storage practices to maintain hygiene and prevent spoilage (e.g., FIFO method).
∎ Update stock levels in the inventory management system or ERP regularly.
∎ Prepare for internal and external audits related to inventory and procurement.
∎ Review vendor contracts and negotiate better pricing and terms when applicable.
∎ Ensure timely payments and reconcile accounts with suppliers.
∎ Maintain and update cost data within the ERP system.
∎ Generate financials and operational reports through ERP to support management decisions.
∎ Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow).
∎ Ensure compliance with local tax & VAT regulations and other statutory payments.
