Hotel Management, Hotel Sales
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Must be able to communicate and understand in English and Bengali.
∎ Read, count and write to complete all documentation.
∎ Need to do Outdoor Marketing & Trade Marketing (such as Campaigning, Promotional Activities).
∎ Must have on hand clients and ability to create new clients that periodically result in generating revenue and Carrying out target oriented sales.
∎ Market visit, client hunt, creating market opportunity.
∎ Development new clients and maintain good relationship with existing clients.
∎ Build a strong relationship with the customer.
∎ Self-motivated, self-learning and proactive in identifying all possible solutions to help clients.
∎ Need to communicate with prospective guests to persuade them to book a room at a hotel.
∎ One sales method consists of telephone calls, conversing with leads in an effort to convince guests to book one or several rooms.
∎ Need to pursue all leads generated by marketing efforts, including inquiries through email, social media, the hotel's website and online hotel booking sites.
∎ While the main goal to revolves around booking rooms and services, maintaining the hotel's guest service culture and image is another vital aspect of the job.
∎ Filing Paper work, maintaining computer databases and communicating guest requirements to all departments of the hotel.
∎ Create accurate written quotations and confirmations for clients in line with department standards.
∎ Conduct and create product awareness initiatives with customer.
∎ Develop and maintain segmented customer data bases for the hotel.
∎ Develop a direct mail and e-mail communication strategy to take advantage of data bases.
∎ Presentation skills and experience using effective verbal and written and verbal communication skills.
∎ Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and work effectively under time and resource constraints.
∎ Working as part of a team and be able to also work independently.
∎ Demonstrate proactive behaviour and flexibility.
∎ Prepare and update a sales action plan indicating all future efforts, goals and objectives outlining weekly sales efforts in a planned, organized realistic plan to develop and grow hotels penetration within the assigned segment.
∎ Build networking opportunities and represent the hotels interests in local issues by regularly attending local Chamber of Commerce, Convention & Visitors Bureau, hotel associations, and trade shows.
∎ Any other duties assigned.
