Experiences & Knowledge
Minimum 3–4 years of procurement experience in NGO/INGO or donor-funded projects (Nutrition/Livelihood/WASH preferred).
Mandatory hands-on experience and knowledge on procurement procedures, documentation, and vendor management.
Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel).
Ability to work in remote field locations and multicultural environments.
High integrity, transparency, and attention to detail.
Candidates from the CHT region or with ethnic identity will be given priority.

TAHZINDONG is a non-profit and non-government voluntary development organization aims to ensure the environmental and Socio-economic development. The organization started its journey in 2001. TAHZINGDONG strives to empower the most disadvantage, marginalized and vulnerable people in CHT through alternative development process of the people as well as ensure the sustainable development of community and society.
The organization plans to implement a project aiming to contribute to Access to and Utilization of Lifesaving Services by Marginalized Communities, disadvantage groups in Bandarban Hill district. TAHZINGDONG is inviting applications to fill the 8 positions for the aforesaid project to be implemented through the partnership with Helen Keller Intl. The appointment to these positions will be made subject to the final approval project.
Job Summary
The Finance Officer will be responsible for ensuring effective financial management, accurate accounting, and compliance with donor and organizational policies for the project “Access to and Utilization of Lifesaving Services by Marginalized Communities in Chittagong Hill Tracts.”
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Financial Management & Reporting
Maintain books of accounts, vouchers, cash/bank registers, and supporting documents;
Prepare monthly financial reports, bank reconciliation statements, and budget tracking sheets;
Process payments, salaries, advances, and settlements as per approved budgets;
Maintain cheque, petty cash, and advance, asset, and inventory registers;
Verify vendor and staff claims ensuring accuracy and timely disbursement;
Budgeting & Monitoring
Assist in preparation and revision of project budgets;
Monitor expenditures against approved budgets and activities;
Consolidate and submit financial reports to management and donors on time;
Compliance & Audit
Ensure compliance with donor guidelines and organizational financial policies;
Support internal and external audits and follow up on audit recommendations;
Maintain strong financial documentation and internal control systems;
Other Duties
Perform additional responsibilities assigned by management;
