1. Treasury Management.
· Perform comprehensive daily reconciliations of all bank accounts against the General Ledger to ensure all inflows and outflows are accurately and timely recorded.
· Monitoring and recording sales collection and conduct reconciliation thereon;
· Work closely with Group Treasury to report daily cash positions and ensure adequate funding is available for operational needs.
· Identify and resolve any banking errors or unidentified transactions within following working days.
· Support the finance operations team in achieving precise month-end closures by ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and reporting deadlines are met consistently.
· Performing reconciliation of stock, debtors, sales, advances and creditors at the end of each month;
· Recording of inter-company transactions and reconciling accordingly at the end of each month;
· Conducting visit of Warehouses and Showrooms to ensure proper control over collection and reconciliations;
· Cheque prints and payment confirmation.
· Maintain a detailed schedule of all outstanding loans, reconciling principal and interest balances between bank statements and internal records.
· Calculate monthly interest expenses, commitment fees, and other finance charges to ensure accurate accruals in the financial statements.
· Collect, organize, and preserve all Bank Sanction Letters and facility agreements, ensuring the business remains compliant with all debt covenants and renewal timelines.
· Identify and resolve variances in loan repayments, interest calculations, and fee assessments.
· Coordinate with group treasury to collect bank statements, loan statements and ensure accuracy and timely recording.
2. Reporting & Month-End Integration.
Cooperate with the Finance Operations team to ensure all treasury-related entries (interest, bank fees, FX gains/losses) are posted accurately before the closing deadline.
Prepare monthly treasury reports for management, highlighting interest rate trends, facility utilization, and bank fee analysis, cost optimization, efficient fund management, etc.
3. Audit & Compliance Support.
Act as the primary point of contact for treasury-related audit queries, providing bank confirmations, loan agreements, and reconciliation reports.
Maintain SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for all treasury functions to ensure transparency and "audit-ready" workflows.
Maintain a clear and organized audit trail for all reconciliation activities to support internal and external audits.
