Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop, manage implement, communicate, and maintain a quality plan to bring the Company's Quality Assurance Systems and Policies into compliance with quality system requirements.
∎ Need to generate & set up the overall quality system in garment factory (Store/Cutting/Embroidery/Sewing/Finishing)
∎ Factory self assessment / Quality audit & reporting
∎ Vast knowledge to manage quality team (QC/QA)
∎ Provide enough quality control seminars and coaching for company trainees
∎ Need to communicate customer's quality team independently
∎ Manage the monitoring, measurement, and review of internal processes, especially those that affect the quality of the organization's products.
∎ Lead a team of Quality engineers, inspectors, auditors, analysts, and technicians
∎ Work with customers, employees, contractors, and outsourcing firms to develop product requirements.
∎ Report to top management on the performance of the QMS (e.g., results of quality audits, corrective actions), including the need for improvement.
∎ Responsible for accuracy and timely inspection/calibration of monitoring and measuring devices.
∎ Execute the quality control by allocating functions of in-line, end line, final inspection and AQL inspection according to customers' quality requirements
∎ Understand and assure the apparel quality requirements on products originated from materials, garment construction and aesthetic
∎ Maintain the quality standards of finished garments as well as sub-processes in bulk production by supporting documents and referencing from Approval Samples, Operational Breakdown and Measurement Charts
∎ Analysis the defects and coordinate with production departments for reaching a plan for corrections and improvements
∎ To cooperate closely with merchandising team, to alert them of any production delay and/or problem.
∎ Control the quality cost and establish a sound inspection team whilst optimizing the quality level which is acceptable by the customers and the organization
∎ To monitor and improve garment inspection methodologies and processes.
∎ Ensuring all quality & production issue by Auditing & Controlling
∎ Quality planning & machine maintenance and also proper utilized MMR
∎ To give size set sample approval
∎ To conduct a pre-production meeting
∎ Doing In-line inspection to check the quality
∎ Follow up Pre- Final inspection
∎ To keep all necessary documents and quality SOP as per buyer standard.
∎ To provide approval such as Knitting, Trimming, Mending, wash, iron & packing & as per required by buyer.
∎ To maintain all discipline and compliance issue
∎ Should knowledge- AQL, Traffic Light system, KPIs, 5S & 7Tools of quality control.
∎ Must be qualified regarding technical audit or FCCA.
∎ Lead all quality staff and GPQ
∎ Ultimately ensure final product quality.
