Job Responsibilities:
∎ To deal with the quality staff independently for all the quality assurance activities including quality control/audit, in line inspection, pre-final and final inspection.
∎ Plan, monitor, audit and ensure quality standards for products in coordination with the department head and production people.
∎ Monitoring product quality through the fabric in house to finished goods.
∎ To assist the Dept. Head for day to day routine activities.
∎ Proven capability to understand different buyers (H&M, WOOLWORTHS GROUP LIMITED, BRANDS OF SCANDINAVIA A/S, DUO FASHIONS GMBH, NEXT DIRECTORY LTD, PEACOCKS STORES LIMITED (PSL), BESTSELLER A/S,) different specifications & requirements.
∎ Thorough knowledge of size set, pre-production activities, in line, and final inspection with proper documentation.
∎ Should have good knowledge of fabrics construction, accessories, trims, print, embroidery, wash, sample, chemical treatment etc.
∎ Develop the quality standard and rules and regulations for achieving the quality of the garments.
∎ Full responsibility for quality function within the location through the entire manufacturing process including incoming, in process, finished goods inspection, and testing.
∎ Validates quality processes by establishing:
∎ Product specifications and quality attributes.
∎ Collaborating with other members of management to develop new product and engineering designs, and manufacturing and training methods.
∎ Conducts floor audits and manage first article and first piece inspection and report.
∎ Develops and maintains quality assurance objectives and coordinates objectives with production procedures in cooperation with the Manager of Manufacturing.
∎ Inline inspection findings should be discussed with respective Production, IE & QA team to get the corrective actions.
∎ Co-ordinate with Management on any requirement that can't be met.
∎ Report any deviation in QA system to Head of Quality Dept.
∎ Any other assignment given by the top management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Must have experience in a renowned Knit Garments Factory.
∎ Proven track record of handling reputed buyers mainly M&S, H&M, Puma etc.
∎ Self - motivated and responsible.
∎ Able to work under pressure.
∎ Should be a team player having good interpersonal skills.
