Technical Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of modern dyeing machinery.

  • Expertise in recipe correction and chemical compliance.

  • Proficiency in ERP data entry and MS Excel for production tracking.

Technical Expertise:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of dyeing processes for various fabric types (Single Jersey, Rib, Interlock, Fleece) and fiber blends (Cotton, Polyester, Viscose, Modal, Lycra).

  • Strong ability in Shade Matching and performing manual Recipe Corrections on the floor.

  • Solid understanding of chemical compliance (ZDHC, RSL, Oeko-Tex) and the impact of liquor ratios and pH on dyeing quality.

  • Proficiency in MS Excel for production reporting and experience working with ERP systems for batch tracking.



Responsibilities & Context:

Take full ownership of shift-wise dyeing operations, ensuring production targets are met with maximum machine efficiency and floor discipline.

Meticulously verify dye/chemical recipes and process parameters (Temp, pH, Liquor Ratio) before batch loading to ensure alignment with lab standards.

Oversee the entire dyeing cycle from loading to unloading, ensuring strict adherence to SOPs for various fabric blends (Cotton, Polyester, Lycra, etc.).

Drive the "Right First Time" (RFT) ratio by closely monitoring shade consistency and coordinating with the shift lab for quick approvals and necessary additions.

Manage the floor-level inventory of dyes and chemicals, ensuring zero wastage and maintaining cost-effective production throughout the shift.

Identify and resolve real-time technical issues—such as uneven dyeing, spots, or machine malfunctions—to minimize downtime and re-processing.

Execute the daily production plan by prioritizing batches based on shipment urgency, machine capacity, and material readiness.

Enforce strict adherence to EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) protocols, chemical handling safety, and 5S housekeeping standards on the production floor.

Maintain precise shift reports, batch cards, and ERP entries, ensuring a detailed and transparent handover to the incoming shift.

Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, and Fabric Store teams to ensure a smooth flow of materials and quick resolution of mechanical bottlenecks.
