Responsibilities & Context:

• Manage and authenticate production bookings received from PMC through the ERP system, ensuring all technical details and requirements are meticulously verified.

• Track yarn arrival and inventory status with the Supply Chain team to ensure raw material availability matches the project timeline (T&A).

• Ensure all R&D and Lab-dip approvals are in place before bulk start by collaborating closely with the R&D and Laboratory teams.

• Facilitate Pre-Production (PP) meetings to assess potential production challenges and align cross-functional teams for flawless execution.

• Design and execute strategic schedules for knitting, dyeing, and finishing units, focusing on achieving consistent weekly performance targets.

• Create data-driven batch plans to streamline the dyeing and finishing process, ensuring maximum machine efficiency and throughput.

• Drive operational excellence by monitoring the real-time status of fabric processing to guarantee 100% on-time throughput and delivery.

• Serve as the central point of contact to troubleshoot production delays and facilitate swift decision-making between departments.

• Minimize operational costs by analyzing process loss, managing fabric/yarn deadstock, and optimizing material yield at every stage.

• Provide analytical updates on production KPIs and delivery statuses to senior leadership for informed business planning.

Technical Knowledge:

• Solid understanding of fabric types, knitting structures, and dyeing-finishing lead times.

• Clear concept of T&A (Time & Action) calendars and production bottlenecks.

• Ability to calculate fabric consumption and process loss accurately.
