• 12–18 years of experience in the RMG industry, with strong exposure to Production, Technical, and Quality functions; at least 5–7 years in a senior leadership role.

• Strong expertise in quality systems, AQL standards, garment construction, product development, and end-to-end manufacturing processes.

• Solid experience in technical operations including sample development, costing, feasibility analysis, and industrial engineering (IE).

• Proven track record in leading audits, reducing DHU, improving right-first-time performance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

• In-depth understanding of buyer compliance, technical standards, and multi-product categories (knit/woven/denim).

• Demonstrated leadership in managing large cross-functional teams.

Job Summary

The Head of Production & Technical is responsible for leading end-to-end production, technical, and quality operations across all manufacturing units, including in-house and subcontract factories. This role ensures alignment with buyer requirements, technical standards, and organizational goals while driving operational efficiency, product quality, and on-time delivery.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead overall production and technical operations from the buying office, ensuring full control over own and subcontract factories for timely and quality output.

• Develop and implement effective quality systems, SOPs, and buyer-specific compliance requirements across all units.

• Provide technical leadership to resolve product-related issues across sampling, fitting, construction, and bulk production stages.

• Oversee end-to-end product quality, ensuring compliance with buyer requirements, standards, and shipment timelines.

• Drive DHU reduction through root cause analysis and effective CAPA implementation.

• Lead PP (Pre-Production) meetings to ensure alignment across Technical, Production, and Quality teams prior to bulk execution.

• Ensure audit readiness and achieve high pass rates in buyer, compliance, and certification audits.

• Collaborate closely with Technical, Development, Merchandising, and Production teams to ensure right-first-time execution and on-time delivery.

• Implement data-driven KPIs and monitor performance to drive continuous improvement.

• Build, lead, and develop high-performing teams across Production, Technical, and Quality functions.
