• Must have a team leading experience in Quality Control/Assurance within footwear.

• Strong knowledge of quality management systems, compliance audits, and buyer requirements.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Monitor and enforce quality standards across all stages of footwear production.

• Conduct inspections of raw materials, components, semi-finished, and finished products to ensure compliance with company and buyer standards.

• Identify defects, analyze root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.

• Collaborate with production, design, and development teams to proactively address quality concerns and enhance product performance.

• Prepare, maintain, and update quality reports, documentation, and compliance records for internal and external audits.

• Ensure adherence to safety, compliance, and quality regulations as per company policy and industry standards.

• Lead, mentor, and manage the Quality Control team to build capability, accountability, and a culture of continuous improvement.

• Conduct supplier evaluations and audits to ensure raw materials meet quality specifications.

• Drive process improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other quality methodologies to enhance efficiency and reduce defects.

• Implement product testing protocols, including durability, fit, comfort, and safety, for finished goods.

• Address customer complaints and feedback, coordinating corrective measures to maintain customer satisfaction.

• Develop and track quality KPIs and metrics to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.

• Standardize work instructions, inspection checklists, and production checkpoints to prevent recurring defects.

• Stay updated with industry trends, new materials, and advanced technologies in footwear manufacturing.
