Must have a team leading experience in Quality Control/Assurance within footwear.
Strong knowledge of quality management systems, compliance audits, and buyer requirements.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Responsibilities & Context:
Monitor and enforce quality standards across all stages of footwear production.
Conduct inspections of raw materials, components, semi-finished, and finished products to ensure compliance with company and buyer standards.
Identify defects, analyze root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Collaborate with production, design, and development teams to proactively address quality concerns and enhance product performance.
Prepare, maintain, and update quality reports, documentation, and compliance records for internal and external audits.
Ensure adherence to safety, compliance, and quality regulations as per company policy and industry standards.
Lead, mentor, and manage the Quality Control team to build capability, accountability, and a culture of continuous improvement.
Conduct supplier evaluations and audits to ensure raw materials meet quality specifications.
Drive process improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other quality methodologies to enhance efficiency and reduce defects.
Implement product testing protocols, including durability, fit, comfort, and safety, for finished goods.
Address customer complaints and feedback, coordinating corrective measures to maintain customer satisfaction.
Develop and track quality KPIs and metrics to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
Standardize work instructions, inspection checklists, and production checkpoints to prevent recurring defects.
Stay updated with industry trends, new materials, and advanced technologies in footwear manufacturing.
Support internal and external quality audits, certifications, and compliance requirements.
