∎ JOB PURPOSE: The purpose of Manager, Programme Development & Knowledge Management in GJD is to support the gender-sensitive programme planning and development process
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES:
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme`s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop/support in development of technical proposal for GJD (pilot/research proposals only) in collaboration with program team and and GRP department.
∎ Support BRAC programmes and enterprises for incorporating gender equality perspectives in new programme/ proposal development.
∎ Provide strategic input for programmatic and organisational development as per need.
∎ Produce/support production of routine and ad hoc reports, and relevant articles.
∎ Coordinate preparation of programmatic communication/reporting materials through review and editing.
∎ Provide support to other team members in day-to-day tasks (i.e. taking meeting minutes, notes).
∎ Explore gender equality fund and collaborate with PRL and ensure SoP has maintained properly for new programme/project's design.
∎ Identify and document learning and good practices on gender equality changes in various BRAC programmes, enterprises and departments.
∎ Produce draft learning reports on various thematic issues related to Gender Equality and Women Empowerment (GEWE).
∎ Support in carrying out various internal and external studies regarding the thematic issues related to GEWE.
∎ Research to find extracts from research report and sharing findings to improve idea of GEWE.
∎ Strengthening KM system through selecting knowledge adda topic / issue identification and facilitation

Additional Requirements:
∎ The incumbent needs to be familiar with the gender and development issues in the context of Bangladesh.
∎ Sound understanding of program development/ project proposal writing in development sectors.
∎ Excellent writing skills both in Bengali and English.
∎ Demonstrated analytical ability and understanding of local and regional political context and the ability to creatively conceptualize relevant grant activities.
∎ Minimum 03 years of working experience with NGOs on project design.
